Project Details

"I know, You Know, We All Love the Eno!"

Help provide this summer camp experience to local children so that they can do better in school and make memories that last a lifetime. The iWalk the Eno Summer Camp is open to all third, fourth, and fifth graders in Durham and Orange counties. Held each June, the camp is a curriculum-based, hands-on, feet-wet program held at Eno River State Park and West Point on the Eno. The Eno River Association partners with local school districts to provide this unique experience, which teaches basic science principles and inspires a love of nature. Special efforts are made to engage children who speak English as a second language and reach those from economically disadvantaged families.
