Mission Statement
The mission of the Eno River Association is to conserve and protect the natural, historical, and cultural resources of the Eno River basin. We believe that to achieve our mission Eno River Association must succeed in three areas: (*) Protect and restore the Eno River from the impacts of urbanization, climate change, and other threats. (*) Invest in deep connections and knowledge building with all the neighbors of the river and watershed--especially communities of color and indigenous people. (*) Foster others’ personal commitment and support for the work of the Eno River Association to ensure the sustainability of the association and its work.
About This Cause
The Eno River Association (ERA) is a 501c3 non-profit conservation organization whose mission is to conserve and protect the natural, cultural, and historic resources of the Eno River basin. The ERA is a nationally accredited, professionally staffed land trust. Since 1966, the Association has worked actively to protect the lands and waters along the Eno River and its tributaries. To date, we have permanently protected more than 7,500 acres of land for the benefit of current and future generations.
