Mission Statement
Child Care Resources Inc. (CCRI) works with families and communities to ensure that all children have access to quality, affordable early learning and school-age experiences that will enable them to succeed in school and life. CCRI helps parents/families identify quality so they can find and choose early learning and school-age child care programs that meet their needs and will serve their children well. In partnership with early care and education and school-age child care programs, CCRI delivers training and technical assistance to help practitioners improve or maintain the quality of their services for children/families. In Mecklenburg County, CCRI administers child care financial aid to income-eligible families to offset the cost of quality child care, enabling parents to work and/or attend school. At the local, regional and state level, CCRI is a leading voice for accessible, affordable, quality early care and education and school-age care for all children, particularly those at greater educational risk.
