Our mission is to support victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking through advocacy, shelter, community outreach, and education.
About This Cause
My Sister's House has been providing services to victims in Nash and Edgecombe Counties since 1981. The agency provide a safe house for emergency shelter, has a Sexual Assault Program, a Latino Outreach Program and operates offices in both counties. All services provided are free and confidential regardless of income, race, age, nationality, or gender. The agency also facilitates support groups, provides court accompaniment, assists with transportation, translation, safety planning, and operates a 24 hour crisis line.
