Mission Statement
Piedmont Land Conservancy protects farmland, rivers and streams, and natural lands in Piedmont, NC - ensuring clean water, local food, wildlife habitat, and places for people to connect with nature. We are a Member of EarthShare North Carolina, a coalition of 70 environmental and conservation organizations. Contributions made to EarthShare NC support all of these organizations and causes.
About This Cause
Piedmont Land Conservancy has been in existence since 1990 serving the surrounding nine county area to assist landowners by creating land easements : portions of land that will remain undeveloped in perpetuity. The main thrust of PLC's mission is to create oasis of undeveloped land so that area residents can enjoy enhanced recreation opportunities as well as protecting watersheds and air quality.
