About This Cause
CIS Wake offers CASE MANAGEMENT: Our Success Coaches work inside schools to develop one-on-one relationships with at-risk students and help them create improvement goals for attendance, behavior, and grades in core courses. We empower students to stay on-track, graduate, and succeed in post-secondary education and careers. CIS Wake offers ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT: We offer intensive after-school and out-of-school tutoring provided by certified teachers who work for us on a part-time basis. We help students master their coursework and make up for any missed or extra credit assignments as needed. We also coordinate a wide variety of arts, culture, and life skills programs with partnering nonprofit organizations in Wake County such as Arts Together NC; Read and Feed; NC DOT; First Tee of the Triangle; Raleigh Tennis Association; Kind Kitchen; North Carolina State University; Wake County 4-H; and more.
