Mission Statement
The mission of Holy Angels is to provide compassionate, dependable care and opportunities for high-quality living to those with intellectual developmental disabilities and delicate medical conditions through physical, social, spiritual, educational, vocational and emotional support. Founded in 1955 by the Sisters of Mercy, Holy Angels is a private, non-profit 501(c) corporation, located in Belmont, NC. We provide a positive physical, educational, social, spiritual and emotional environment of support for children and adults with varying degrees of intellectual developmental disabilities and delicate medical conditions. Holy Angels operates 15 facilities, employs 300 people and provides services for our residents 24 hours a day, year-round. We operate a vocational training program called Cherubs Café and Cherubs Candy Bouquet and also have a day program called Life Choices which provides vocational training for adults in the community.
