Mission Statement
The SPCA of the Triad is a non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abused, neglected, unwanted, and homeless animals in our community. We are one of the only no-kill, limited-admission shelters in the Piedmont Triad.
About This Cause
The SPCA of the Triad is a non-profit animal rescue organization in Greensboro, NC. We were founded in 1994 and continue to be a critical resource to our community. We support our community in numerous ways: We accept owner surrender animals and strays. We pull cats and dogs from municipal shelters that are forced to euthanize them for space. We provide medical care for our animals and adopt them to loving families. We offer a community pet food bank so companion animals can stay with their families We host a monthly low-cost rabies clinic for our community. We have free resources to strengthen the human/animal bond and keep animals with their families. We educate the public on responsible pet ownership and training through free seminars and resources.
