Mission Statement
For 24 years, ASCC has maintained this mission: to provide affordable, quality mental health counseling to the uninsured and underinsured residents of Western North Carolina. Each year, we serve approximately clients with 3-6 months of individual therapy. Our goal is to make mental health counseling more accessible and affordable for people in the region, and to de-stigmatize mental health issues in the community. While counseling services are provided on a sliding scale basis, no one is turned away for inability to pay.
About This Cause
All Souls Counseling Center has grown to include 18+ professionally licensed therapists who provide high-quality compassionate mental health counseling for uninsured and underinsured adults of Western North Carolina. We continue to offer counseling on a sliding scale fee basis. We have expanded our services to place therapists within partner community organizations to make counseling as accessible as possible. Since October 2024, in the wake of Hurricane Helene, we have been providing mental health disaster response services across the region.
