Mission Statement
Engage in a positive endeavor to illuminate and elevate the naturalistic worldview and promote mutual respect among citizens by advancing through educational efforts a public recognition that people who have a supernatural-free worldview are moral and civic equals of those who draw on explanations of supernatural agency for experiential phenomena.
About This Cause
The Brights' Net is the hub of communications and educational action of an international online constituency of individuals who hold a naturalistic worldview, free of supernatural and mystical elements. The charity's organizational hub ("Brights Central") registers constituents and, in support of its science-leaning constituency, issues bulletins to active subscribers. Through the website content and projects, this charity seeks to educate about its mission and, through its "Morality Project," provide to the public a scientifically grounded explanation (the naturalistic basis) of human morality. Through its "Evolution Poster Project," the charity supports science teachers in their efforts to offer an understandable biological explanation of evolutionary change on earth. Both projects are outlined for public viewing and accessible from the home page of the organization.
