Mission Statement
nTyme is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing music education to the youth of our community from preschool through high school, regardless of ability. Whether string, woodwind, brass or percussion, ensembles, orchestras or specialty groups, nTyme offers programs to fit every child's music education needs.
About This Cause
The North Torrance Youth Musicians Ensemble or nTyme, was formed as a result of the collaboration of parents, educators, family, and friends all working to create a positive music educational experience for our youth. The organization's motto, "Setting the Tempo for Music Education" represents the vision, passion, and dream of our Music Director and our founding Board of Directors. In addition to our music education programs, our intention is to help students feel good about themselves, provide leadership opportunities, and instill the importance of music, teamwork, and helping others. All of our Music Directors, Board of Directors, and parents volunteer their time and are committed to seeing our students excel in music as well as in their lives.
