Mission Statement
To provide programs and services to the senior population of Jasper County and their caregivers that will allow the elderly to remain in their homes independent of others for as long as possible.
About This Cause
We provide Group Dining Programs that include hot nutritious meals and nutrition education and socialization. The Congregate clients come to our centers Monday -Friday 8am to 2pm. We offer many activities that include quilting, arts and crafts, bingo, exercise programs, painting and jewelry making classes. We also provide a Home Delivered Meal Program that include hot nutritious meals daily Monday - Friday our drivers do wellness and safety checks on all of are homebound clients, we also offer them nutrition education. We also provide Transportation to and from the center for the congregate clients. We happy to have recently added a transportation service to the dental clinics in our county. We take them to their appointments and bring them home. We go shopping to Walmart twice a month this gives them independence to go shopping and not burden their families. We plan two big trips a year to State Fairs, Museums and various other attractions around the state. We have a Health Promotion Program that includes Educational and social activities, Bingocize, Diabetes Management and Safety Tips. We have an Information and Assistance Services that we refer all Seniors to if that need help with any kind of minor repairs, caregivers etc. Our seniors are very important to us and we try to assist them in everyway possible to keep them active and show them the importance of their being to our community.
