About This Cause
Landmarks for Families transforms the lives of abandoned, abused, and traumatized, youth by developing safe spaces that promote healing for youths and their families through our prevention, preservation, education, and reunification programs in Charleston South Carolina. Serving Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley Counties in South Carolina for over 235 years with our original name, we are dedicated to creating functional family units to provide a safe healing environment. Through our prevention, preservation, residential, and reunification programs, we provide safe shelter, therapeutic services, and unwavering support to help children and families thrive. Our mission is simple yet profound: to create a world where every child grows up in a loving, stable family and a nurturing community, empowered to lead a successful, fulfilling life. Together, we’re building brighter futures—one child at a time.
