Mission Statement
The United Way of Chesterfield County, based on sincerity and integrity, seeks to enhance the economic and social well being of the community through the collection and allocation of funds and resources based on need.
About This Cause
The United Way of Chesterfield County is creating community impact through Health & Safety, Youth Development, and Financial Stability. Health & Safety means programs that help with access to healthcare, preventing homelessness, and educational programs promoting safety. Youth Developments means programs that build skills in education and/or leadership, do workforce training, and/or prevent risky behaviors. Financial stability means programs that help families become self-sufficient, particularly in regards to basic needs, reducing dependence on government programs, and increasing financial literacy (education oh how to budget, use credit, etc.).
