Mission Statement

Artists for World Peace changes lives- one child, one family, one community at a time. We are artists and activists who promote peace by feeding, housing, educating, and providing healthcare to those in need, lifting communities to a place of hope throughout the world.

About This Cause

Since 2003, Artists for World Peace has created humanitarian projects to serve underprivileged communities. We have provided interest-free micro loans, created sustainability projects and continue to support a family of 24 orphans at our PEACE HOUSE, an orphanage we established in Moshi, Tanzania. Since 2010 we have provided Free Eye and Dental care in Tanzania, in the health center we built for 3500 villagers in a remote village that was in need of health care. We have become known for our Free NATIVE EYES Clinics, which we open annually on both the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota as well as in Connecticut, providing free care to thousands of tribal members. Much of the funds raised to support our projects come through our artistic performances and gallery shows– working with artists in all mediums. Our work brings together artists from all races, religions, nationalities, sexual orientations and political affiliations. We have proven that by coming together in peace, and through the arts, communities have formed wherever we work. We, as artists, use the arts as a driving force of free expression and communication to highlight our similarities, as well as our differences. As a result, all of our humanitarian projects have attracted doctors, health care professionals and technicians who also want to be part of this social change we have been creating. We are grateful to receive financial support from donors, which further supports our humanitarian work.
