About This Cause
The Flint River Council serves youth, families and communities through the Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturing and Exploring programs. Incorporated in 1927, Flint River Council was chartered by the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America to implement a quality Scouting program for all youth in the geographic areas of Coweta, Fayette, Henry, Spalding, Butts, Pike, Lamar and Upson. The mission of the Flint River Council is to provide a quality, dynamic program of learning and adventure that builds well-rounded young people. Through our programs we hope to instill in young people the principles of integrity, character, responsibility and leadership, preparing them to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes.
