About This Cause
The Chattahoochee Nature Center is Atlanta’s Nature Destination! We offer: community events for children, families and adults, wildlife programs, hiking, environmental education, horticulture & more! We value: Providing life long learning opportunities Our role as a vital part of the community’s educational, scientific and cultural life. Fostering a personal awareness that we are ‘a part of’ and not ‘apart from’ the natural world Honesty and integrity Our goal for the youth community: to foster an active awareness and understanding of the ecology of the natural world through interactive, hands-on learning experiences. Our goal for the adult community: to provide a local place for adult learning experiences, volunteerism, and outdoor family activities that strengthens the environmental stewardship commitment within the community.
