About This Cause
Odyssey was founded in 1973 and has been in continuous operation for 49 years. Our mission has always been to serve the low-income and disadvantaged population, regardless of age, culture or income. From the beginning, we have specialized in counseling for families, as well as individuals. We have always been firmly planted in the Atlanta community with the objective of providing ‘community-wide mental health’ to people of all ages, cultures, and incomes. We provide quality, evidence-based mental health services, delivered with compassion and dignity, to the families and individuals who otherwise cannot access or complete the treatment they need.
