Mission Statement
The North Carolina Coastal Federation empowers coastal residents and visitors from all walks of life to protect and restore the water quality and critically important natural habitats of the North Carolina coast. We are a Member of EarthShare North Carolina, a coalition of 70 environmental and conservation organizations. Contributions made to EarthShare NC support all of these organizations and causes.
About This Cause
Since its grassroots formation in 1982 the federation is the state’s only 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses exclusively on protecting and restoring the coast of North Carolina through education, advocacy and habitat preservation and restoration. Our vision is for a natural, beautiful and productive coast that is a great place to live, work and visit.
