Mission Statement

The primary function of the Ronald McDonald House is to provide affordable lodging for families who must travel to Knoxville seeking medical treatment for their critically ill children being served in area hospitals. The nominal donation of $5.00 per night for the entire family is completely waived if a family cannot afford it. Our target group is families with children ages newborn to 21 who are hospitalized.

Our Mission: A commitment by caring people to provide an affordable home-away-from-home and related support services that offer compassion and hospitality and an atmosphere conducive to fostering mutual support for families having ill and injured children being treated in area hospitals.
