Mission Statement
The Humane Society of Union County (HSUC) was created in 1983 with the mission to help save and rehome the unwanted dogs and cats of Union County North Carolina and the surrounding areas.
About This Cause
HSUC is a foster based and volunteer driven organization. All of our dogs and cats are placed in temporary foster homes until they are medically treated, spayed or neutered, and ready for adoption. All of our animals available for adoption are cared for in foster homes. HSUC does not operate out of a shelter facility and receives no financial assistance from any other organizations.
