To create stability for families and individuals in need by distributing donated furniture to turn their houses into homes.
About This Cause
The Furniture Bank provides clients with necessary and essential household furniture. Clients include individuals and families moving out of homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or living below the poverty level and experiencing a life crisis such as a fire or flooding. Before coming to the Furniture Bank, clients are living without basic furniture, sleeping and eating on the floor. Each household receives a bed for every family member as well as other items including couches, kitchen tables and chairs, dressers, and more. The gift of furniture improves the financial, physical, and emotional health of clients, increasing the chance of long-term stability for themselves and their families.
