Our mission is to facilitate a transformation that empowers chemically dependent men and women to become sober, accountable members of society and to serve as a recovery resource for the community.
About This Cause
The Extension is the leading provider of residential treatment services for homeless, addicted men and women in the state of Georgia. We are a licensed and accredited community supported, non-profit organization making a real and lasting difference in the lives of those we serve. The Extension has 82 total treatment beds for homeless, addicted men and in August of 2018, we embarked on a five year strategic plan to cast a vision for the future. This plan represents a partnership between a well-known philanthropist who supported the effort with his wisdom and financial backing, consultants that helped guide the process, our Board of Directors and a multitude of stakeholders inside and outside of the organization.
