Mission Statement
Good News Clinics provides free medical and dental care services and specialty referrals to uninsured Hall County residents who cannot afford health care.
About This Cause
Good News Clinics provides over 17,000 patient visits each year, In FY 2015, GNC provided more than $20 million in health and dental services with a budget of $1.3 million. All medical and dental care as well as medications and specialty care is free of charge to patients. Patients must be uninsured, have an income within 150% of the federal poverty level, be residents of Hall County and have no other access to insurance such as Peach Care, Medicaid or Medicare. Medicare patients who meet other requirements but have no dental care can be seen in the dental clinic. Services are provided by 40 volunteer doctors, 41 volunteer dentists, 9 volunteer nurse practitioners and physicians assistants as well as other volunteer healthcare professionals. Good News Clinics has 2 nurse practitioners on staff who provide care. The Health Access program refers patients for specialty treatments/procedures provided by 300+ specialty physicians and Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
