Action Ministries mobilizes communities to address the challenges of poverty by focusing on hunger relief, housing and education. Action Ministries offers programs and services to help people and families transform their lives, including programs that assist in feeding, clothing, children’s services, emergency assistance, education, addiction recovery, supportive services for veterans and people with disabilities, and transitional housing for families with children.
About This Cause
Action Ministries, Inc. (AMI) is a faith-based, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that has served north Georgia for 50 years. Action Ministries mobilizes communities to address the challenges of poverty by focusing on hunger relief, housing and education. We have program locations in Athens, Atlanta, Augusta, Decatur, Gainesville, Rome and regional hunger initiatives and housing programs across North Georgia. Action Ministries is a nonprofit that provides an extensive network of community partners and volunteers with the tools and expertise to lead fellow Georgians out of poverty.
