Mission Statement
Mission: Through support within our community we bridge the gaps for critical needs of families or individuals and provide services to aid in finding a path to self-sufficiency. Vision: To be an effective community leader in aligning resources that strengthen families and individuals.
About This Cause
The North Gwinnett Co-Op serves families, seniors and individuals living in the cities of Buford, Sugar Hill and Suwanee, GA and the Gwinnett Co. residents of Braselton, Hoschton and Auburn. Recipients receive food, utility and medication assistance and free clothing. Seasonal programs offer free school supplies and Christmas presents to the children served by the North Gwinnett Co-Op. Additional services include holiday meals to over 1,600 families, free haircuts and free resume training. The North Gwinnett Co-Op served over 32,000 individuals and distributed over 545,000 pounds of food in 2020. The North Gwinnett Co-Op depends solely on community donations to ensure the people of their community are not going hungry.
