About This Cause
Established in 1999, The DDD Foundation operates The DDD Foundation Dental Clinic, which opened in Atlanta in 2002. Ours is the only private facility in Georgia that specifically provides dental care exclusively to patients with developmental disabilities, a population that faces enormous barriers to quality and affordable care. The DDD Foundation dental clinic treats nearly 4,800 active patients with autism, intellectual delays, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and an array of other developmental disabilities. We provide routine, preventive and emergency dental care, including extractions, fillings, cleanings, x-rays, sedation and oral surgery. The dental clinic is staffed by professionals trained to serve people with developmental disabilities.
