About This Cause
It began over 100 years ago with one woman, Juliette Gordon “Daisy” Low, who believed in the power of every girl. Today, we continue her vision of building girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place by helping them discover their inner strength, passions and talents. With our innovative programs in science, technology, and the environment, plus more traditional activities like career exploration, camping, and creative arts, girls have every opportunity to discover their passions and follow them where they lead her. Girl Scouts of West Central Florida proudly serve over 19,000 girls and nearly 8,000 adult members in Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sumter counties.
