The Mission of the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties, Inc. is to strengthen the organized capacity of our community, ensuring maximum support to everyone in need.
About This Cause
Everyone deserves opportunities to have a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family, good health and access to basic needs when times get tough. United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties (UWVFC) is working with local businesses, governments, nonprofits, churches, volunteers and community leaders to invest in the building blocks for a better life to advance the common good for all of our communities. We have three focus areas: - Education: A quality education is the basis for personal and community success. United Way invests in programs that help children and adults succeed in school and in live. - Financial Stability: United Way invests in local programs to help families earn, keep and save their hard-earned money so they can worry about other things. - Health: Our priority is to improve awareness and access to health and wellness related resources and services; to provide everyone the opportunity for a healthy life.
