Mission Statement

AYUDA, Inc. is a community-based non-profit organization that was established in 1977. Since then, AYUDA has served the Miami-Dade County communities with excellence in social services. Our mission is to “help improve the lives of children and families who are underserved and/or at risk in South Florida through education, life skills training and programs that support self-sufficiency.” AYUDA was founded by Diana Susi who is the CEO and the heart of the organization. Ms. Susi wanted to create an organization with the purpose of helping immigrant families deal with their needs and created a legacy for the community. Since its establishment AYUDA has served more than 200,000 children, adolescents, adults, and elderly. Over the past 47 years the agency has flourished into the recognition of a Miami-Dade Resource Center offering different programs and service to prevent abuse and neglect and provide human services, mental health, and social emotional learning to our community.
