About This Cause
The Center Orlando is one of Central Florida’s oldest and most vital LGBTQ+ advocacy and support organizations. Located in the heart of Orlando, The Center serves as a safe, inclusive space where members of the LGBTQ+ community—and their allies—can access vital resources, find connection, and feel affirmed in their identity. Since 1978, The Center has been dedicated to promoting and empowering the LGBTQ+ community through advocacy, education, health and wellness services, and cultural programs. We offer a wide range of support including free HIV and STI testing, mental health services, community groups, transgender support, youth and senior programs, and an essential needs pantry called The Pride Pantry. Whether you're looking to volunteer, receive services, or connect with others, The Center is here to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors is seen, supported, and celebrated.
