Mission Statement
Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is a non-profit organization transforming lives by ensuring safe children, strong families and vibrant communities. Founded in 1982, LSF currently touches the lives of 1 in 50 Floridians every year through various programs, including early education, youth shelters, foster care, refugee and resettlement services, substance abuse mental health services, and adult guardianship. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, LSF has more than 60 programs throughout Florida and approximately 1,200 dedicated employees.

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is a non-profit human services organization dedicated to helping all people in need regardless of religious affiliation, age or national origin. Established in 1982 by Lutheran churches, LSF collaborates with others towards common goals of loving and serving our neighbors. LSF is headquartered in Tampa, and serves more than 500,000 people annually through more than 60 services throughout the state of Florida. These vital services include Case Management for Child Welfare, Child Care Food Program, Disaster Response, Guardianship Services, Head Start and Early Head Start, Housing for Homeless Families, Ryan White AIDS Program, Sexual Abuse Treatment Program, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Programs, Teen Court, and Youth Shelters and Family Crisis Counseling Programs. LSF is responsive to the changing needs of Florida communities, and works to transform individuals and families by providing healing, hope and help through effective human services.
