About This Cause
At United Way of Hernando County, we fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in our community. We continuously assess the unmet needs Hernando faces and directly assist residents in crisis with wraparound services. Our team advocates on behalf of those in need of help, and in need of hope. Through our Community Investment process, United Way of Hernando County strategically invests in programs, services, and partnerships that align with our initiative GOALS. Now more than ever, the community’s support for our organization and programs as well as financial resources, are critically needed. It is in large thanks to dedicated Partners, loyal donors, & active supporters that we are able to continue doing what we do best…. And that’s help Hernando. WE CREATE CHANGE United Way of Hernando County continues to carry out its mission of local support with a heavy focus on programs and partnerships that provide direct services to those most vulnerable. We have been uniquely positioned to directly impact change by swiftly mobilizing resources. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Hundreds of volunteers, incredible corporate partners, and our many dedicated partner Agencies, United Way of Hernando County has touched thousands of lives throughout the community.
