About This Cause
MTC provides innovative, certificate-based job training, employment placement, life skills and residential community living programs for individuals with varying developmental, intellectual and physical abilities, including deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Programs include employment counseling for applicants and employers, job placement, vocational and life-skills training, as well as enrichment activities. Over 4,000 MTC clients have secured community-based employment since 1971. In a powerful paradigm shift, led by MTC’s visionary CEO, with the support of its Board of Directors, MTC provides globally-recognized, industry-certified vocational training in four high-growth sectors: technology, manufacturing, healthcare and hospitality. MTC instructors are credentialed subject matter experts, experienced in working with the various learning styles of students with varying abilities. MTC students will be positioned for success in a diverse workplace, empowered to break the cycle of poverty and secure meaningful employment at competitive salaries.
