Mission Statement
The Brandon Bears Youth Football and Cheerleading Organization is committed to providing a safe and positive environment for our children to learn teamwork and participate in sports.
About This Cause
The Brandon Bears Youth Football and Cheerleading League Inc. is all volunteers and a non-profit 501(c)(3) Florida Corporation. Our goal is to develop and promote the idea of responsibility, hard work, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. The individual growth of our community's children is enhanced through the spirit of competition and fair play. These goals will be accomplished by providing a structured program designed to educate both children and families in all aspects of the sports of football and cheerleading. In addition to on field and mat competition, the Brandon Bears aim to focus on education, mental health, and volunteerism. We are developing a comprehensive tutoring program that focuses on critical reading and math skills that will support our athletes in succeeding in school. We also have a mentorship program in which our coaches, and community members (adult and youth) mentor our students as we aim to make this a safe space for all members of the Brandon Bears to focus on mental health and coping skills.
