Hands On Orlando is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization that solves community problems by educating, inspiring and empowering people to make a difference through volunteer action.
About This Cause
Hands On Orlando has improved the lives of hundreds of thousands of people through its work, in places as diverse as homeless shelters, parks and schools. While never the beneficiary of its work or that of the volunteers it serves, HOO identifies, plans, manages and leads projects that individuals, families, groups and companies can join. Since 1999, Hands On Orlando has helped over 190,000 people become volunteers and supported over 300 community-based organizations during more than 5250 managed projects. Volunteers have come from every Central Florida community, all 50 States and over 60 countries. Hands On Orlando is 100% funded by monetary donations, from individuals, groups, organizations and companies.
