Mission Statement
Gerda’s Equine Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3 horse rescue located in the green mountains of Southern Vermont. We rescue all types of Equines (Horses, Ponies, Mules, and Donkeys) from the unthinkable fate of becoming slaughter bound for human consumption, and with the ultimate goal of finding each of them a perfect new home.
About This Cause
Gerda’s Equine Rescue is a 501(c)3 horse rescue in Southern Vermont that: * Rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes horses in danger of becoming slaughter bound. * Offers options for owner surrender for people needing a safe place to re-home their horses. * Offers educational programs for the next generation of horse caretakers, the kids! * Hosts free Annual gelding and discount dental clinics for horse owners in need.
