Mission Statement
The purpose and dedication of Orange Audubon Society (OAS) is to promote public understanding of, and an interest in, wildlife and the environment that supports it. OAS’ education programs foster the recognition of the tangible and intangible values in the remaining natural areas of Florida and the world, and our responsibility for the conservation of the Earth’s natural ecosystems and the services that they provide for the health of the planet.
About This Cause
Orange Audubon Society (OAS) is a Florida nonprofit organization [501(c)(3)], a chapter of National Audubon Society and Florida Audubon Society, with approximately 2000 households as members. As one of the nearly 500 chapters of National Audubon Society and one of 44 Florida chapters, OAS works to meet National Audubon’s goals by providing birding, education and conservation opportunities locally, and advocating for the environment on local, state, national and global conservation priorities.
