Mission Statement
Since 1871, Kentucky Methodist Children's Homes has served young people—originally as an orphanage and now offering care to children with histories of abuse, neglect and/or family trauma. Our programs are both residential and community-based. We provide for their physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs.
About This Cause
Kentucky Methodist Children's Homes began in 1871. Since then, Kentucky Methodist Children's Homes has served children & families in need. Today we have two campuses and serve 900-2000 youth per year through residential and community programs. We work with children and families who have histories of abuse, neglect, and/or family trauma which has caused emotional and behavioral problems for young people. We provide professionally trained clinicians whose goals are to bring wholeness to the lives of the families we serve. We believe that every person is an individual of worth entitled to God's gift of wholeness of life.
