Mission Statement
The Kentucky Colonels is an organization of talented and capable men and women appointed by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky because of their service to the state. We act as the Governor’s ambassadors of Kentucky’s heritage and rich history of arts and entertainment. Our primary objective is to support needy Kentucky charities and worthy Kentucky organizations by raising money from our membership to help those organizations who stand ready to help our citizens share in Kentucky’s boundless future. We celebrate this mission and encourage and affirm one another in these efforts.
About This Cause
The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels is a non-profit, 501c3 IRS classified organization comprised of individuals who have been commissioned as honorary Kentucky Colonels by a Kentucky Governor. The organization accepts voluntary tax-deductible donations from its members and distributes those funds in the form of grants to other qualifying, 501c3 classified organizations for specific charitable or educational programs as outlined in an extensive application submitted by said organization.
