Mission Statement
At Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass, our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth in Central Kentucky, and our vision is that all children reach their true potential.
About This Cause
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass creates lasting relationships that we call matches between mentors and children. Our staff works carefully to make sure that each of our “Littles” is matched with a “Big” who is not only compatible but also safe and reliable. Once matches are made, they are then monitored, supported, and provided with resources and activities that help contribute to the quality time they spend together and to the quality of life of the Little and their family. Together, we clear a path to their biggest possible futures. Together, we are Defenders of Potential.
