Mission Statement
The mission of Jeffersontown Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is to celebrate, practice, and share our faith in Jesus Christ for the glory of God and the common good. We are committed to extending God's gracious welcome and extravagant love to all people and aligning our words and deeds with the prophetic witness of the Bible - to seek justice for the oppressed, to proclaim good news to the poor, to provide healing and care to the vulnerable, and to point the world toward the coming realm of God.
About This Cause
Since 1839, Jeffersontown Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) has been proclaiming and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ from our doorsteps to the ends of the earth. We are a strong, joyful, and welcoming people committed to serving God and neighbor through acts of grace, compassion, and generosity.
