Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide new and used clothing to needy school kids and adults in our community.
About This Cause
Open Concern provides used/new clothing to local public schools kids who are needy twice a year. They are bussed to our facility with their Family Resource Directors to get the clothing with the assistance of volunteers during the fall/spring semester. There is a volunteer coordinator who oversees the school clothing program. The store side sells gently used clothing to adults. This helps the Center to purchase school kids clothes and pay the bills. There is a paid part-time employee who oversees this part of Open Concern. Adult clothing is donated by community members in Richmond, KY.
