Mission Statement
Girls Education Collaborative (GEC) brings social change through the transformational power of girls education and our fight for global gender equality. We link arms with local change agents in rural, under-served geographical regions with high rates of gender inequality and economic poverty. We help girls transform their own lives through education.
About This Cause
Our vision is to equip girls in developing countries to transcend their circumstances, realize their fullest potential and become catalysts for change. We do this by establishing pivotal partnerships with advocates within a community to catalyze and support their local initiatives centered on educating girls. Our support is responsive, flexible, and multi-faceted, and can include financial and technical assistance, thought partnership, and project management.
