Mission Statement
We provide food, shelter, clothing, healthcare and schooling for over 800 orphans and destitute, with plans to fund higher education for all who are able and/or vocational training and to equip them for successful lives.
About This Cause
Achungo Children’s Center is located in southwest Kenya and is dedicated to transforming the lives of orphans and destitute children in Kenya, with provision of care and education, giving them hope and a future, while nurturing integrity and responsibility. We provide food, shelter, clothing, healthcare and education for orphaned and destitute children, currently serving over 800 children ages 3 to 17 in pre-school through 9th grade. We also provide full support for over 200 of our graduates as they receive high school education. Our goal is to enable all who are able to complete secondary school, college and/or vocational training that equips them to be able to support themselves.
