Mission Statement
The mission of the Capital District Recovery Center (CDRC) is to provide a safe and comfortable space for people seeking recovery from addictions by offering a one-stop location for 12 Step and other recovery meetings, recovery supports, and programs for self-improvement, and spiritual growth.
About This Cause
CDRC serves as the first one of its kind recovery center serving the Capital Region of New York State to assist people in maintaining addiction free lifestyles. As a recovery center, it will provide recovery-oriented social activities, community education, wellness offerings and recovery support services. CDRC will be a welcoming environment for individuals of all ages, race, spiritual/religious approaches, sexual orientations and socioeconomic status. First and foremost CDRC is a centralized home base for 12 Step fellowships and other recovery programs in the Capital District. It achieves this by providing a safe, non-secular, accessible and affordable rental space for all recovery meetings. It rents space to carefully selected providers of addiction healing and therapeutic services. The communal aspect of the CDRC offers information on recovery, self-improvement, spiritual growth and mindfulness healing.
