Mission Statement
To assist Taiwanese-Americans to integrate into the U.S society. To promote interaction among Taiwanese-Americans and improve the general well-being of Taiwanese-Americans in the greater Indianapolis area. To foster friendship and understanding between the people of Taiwan and the U.S. To cultivate understanding and appreciation of Taiwanese heritage thereby enriching the American culture. To preserve and enhance basic human rights.
About This Cause
TAAI is a non-profit, non-religious, and non-political organization. Major missions of TAAI include assisting newly immigrated Taiwanese to integrate into the society and introducing Taiwanese culture to the community. Major Taiwanese holidays are publicly celebrated, including lunar new year, dragon boat festival, and moon festival. To promote Taiwanese culture, TAAI participates in various community events, such as International Festival, Asian Festival, and Sister City Festival. TAAI also raises funds to help victims of natural disasters.
