Mission Statement

The mission of Columbia CARES is to respond to the AIDS epidemic by providing social case management and services for People Living with HIV, HIV Prevention Education and HIV testing in the South Central Region of Middle Tennessee.

About This Cause

Columbia CARES was chartered in 1992 and opened our doors in 1993. We are an AIDS-Service Organization housed and serving in a 12-county rural Middle Tennessee region. We provide HIV testing, HIV education, and social services for People Living with HIV disease. Social services include case management/client advocacy, transportation, food resources, housing assistance (short-term rent, mortgage, utility).
