Mission Statement
The Clinton Community Christian Corporation (4C’s) is a non-profit, tax-exempt social service agency organized to create awareness of some of the needs in our community and to coordinate available resources and efforts to meet those needs. The 4C’s is governed by a Board of Directors chosen from the community.The agency encourages involvement of in individuals with one another on a personal level, and seeks to help the community of Clinton respond with God’s love to the needs we see around us.
About This Cause
Some of the services offered by the 4C's include: Senior Adult Services includes the 4C’s Nutrition Program – A hot lunch is provided on a weekday basis for adults 60 and older at the 4C’s center. Home Delivered Meals are provided for those 60 and older and are homebound. Senior Center Activities are available every weekday to senior center participants such as games, Bible study, singing, exercise, movies, shopping and field trips to various places. Transportation to essential places such as the senior center, health services, grocery shopping, recreational activities is provided to adults 60 and older. Friendly Visitors/Chore Services are regular visits to homebound older adults that may include running errands and performing other chores by caring volunteers. The 4C’s provides emergency financial assistance, food, clothing, furniture,and other items, to families facing financial crisis. These include utility, rent and prescription assistance. Holiday Assistance is provided to families during Thanksgiving and Christmas. A Thanksgiving dinner is provided, as well as gifts for Christmas is provided to families who qualify. Weatherization – Qualifying homeowners are assisted with housing repairs and weatherization on their substandard homes. The 4C's youth programs help to facilitate and promote intellectual and/or emotional development for local youth through various summer literary programs such as the Summer Literary Project, the Drama Club, the Book Club, and the Family Bonds Reading Program.
