Mission Statement
Grace House, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Mississippi in 1993 that began providing hospice housing to Mississippi men dying of AIDS in 1994. As ARTs (anti-retro-viral therapies) improved Grace House moved to providing housing and supportive services to men and women living with HIV. In 2009, Grace House began receiving funds from HUD, through the HUD Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS (HOPWA). HOPWA funding allows Grace House to provide permanent supportive housing to men, women, transgender, and families in single family dwellings and apartments, as our clients prefer. Grace House provides housing and supportive services to over 230 people in approximately 90 homes per year. We rely on HOPWA funding, fundraising, and individual, foundation, and corporate donations to provide this housing and our supportive services.
